This 11 days/ 10 nights best of Kenya wildlife safari will take you to the most visited destinations in Kenya each famous for unique and stunning attractions. The tour begins in Samburu National Reserve, Ol-Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Lake Naivasha then finally Amboseli National Park

DETAILED ITINERARY- Day 1

Welcome to Nairobi Kenya: Upon landing, you will be welcomed by our company representative and transferred to your Nairobi Hotel (Ole Sereni)

Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Game Reserve

After breakfast you will be met by our company representative who will introduce himself to you and brief you about this 11 days Kenya adventure as you set off on your journey to Samburu National Game Reserve where you will arrive at lunch time. Have your meal, relax abit and embark on an afternoon game drive in this stunning Reserve in the Northern part of Kenya to spot plenty of animals including Lions, Zebras, Hippos, Reticulated Giraffe, Oryx Antelopes many more. You will later on return to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep at Ashnil Samburu. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Driving time: 6-7 hours

Day 3: Full day in Samburu National Reserve

Arise and shine in this stunning reserve in Northern part of Kenya.You will have breakfast served at your lodge after which you will meet your Kenya safari driver/ guide for a full day game drive in this beautiful Reserve spotting plenty of wildlife including the Big 5 game with exception of the Rhinos. Amongst the animals to look out for in Samburu Reserve include Oryx, Zebras, Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Cheetahs, Gerenuk, Leopards and many more. After spending an entire day over here you will retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep as above. Note: There is an optional activity of visiting the Samburu homesteads for a cultural tour/ experience. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 4: Transfer to Ol-Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on your journey from Samburu National Game Reserve to Ol-Pejeta Conservancy which was once called Sweet waters. Ol-Pejeta is such a stunning and privately owned Conservancy situated in between the ranges of Mount Kenya and Mount Aberdare. You can even spot some cattle grazing alongside wildlife. You will enjoy a game drive in Ol-Pejeta. You may as well enjoy a visit a Jane Goodall chimpanzee sanctuary. Overnight at Sweetwater’s Serena camp

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National park

After breakfast at your lodge, check out of the lodge and set off on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National park is such stunning destinations in Kenya that thrill in the Great Rift Valley region of Kenya where you will experience fascinating wildlife viewing safari in Lake Nakuru national park Kenya with plenty of tourist attractions ranging from flora species, fauna species and the water bodies among others. Lake Nakuru national park is situated in the north of Nairobi city, the capital city of Kenya. Upon park arrival, you will have be welcomed on an en-route game drive during which you will see wildlife species such as giraffes, rhinos, gazelles, buffalos, antelopes, reedbucks, elands, impalas among others as you head to your lodge for lunch. Game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park: After lunch, you will have another game drive in Lake Nakuru national park and you will visit the flamingo filled Lake Nakuru which is a good birding spot to see flocks of flamingos along the lake shores as well as other bird species and wildlife species grazing in the nearby plains. You will be driven back to your lodge after your evening game drive to have your dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill

Day 6: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve

After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you will be picked up by your guide from the lodge and set off on your 6 hours’ drive from Lake Nakuru national park to Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara national reserve is a very rewarding Kenya safari destination famous for habiting a variety of wildlife and experiencing the exceptional great wildebeest migration. Masai Mara national reserve is a very scenic Kenya safari destination with endless plains dotted with short savannah plains offering easy views of animals living in the reserve, animals found and spotted in Masai Mara national reserve include lions, cheetahs, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, wildebeests, hartebeests and many more. Proceed with your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve where you will arrive in late afternoon for lodge check in, have lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive till the sun goes down. Look out for wildlife species such as Wildebeests, Zebras, Elands, buffalos, antelopes, waterbucks, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards and buffalos and many more as they graze and roam around the savannah plains. You will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Mara Ashnil Camp

Day 7: Full day excursion in Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare to go for your morning game drive in Masai Mara national reserve. During your game drive, you will see a variety of wildlife species such as the predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs as well as other wildlife species like elephants, buffalos, hartebeest, zebras, antelopes as well as wildebeest which are among the spectacular sights at this destination especially during the time of the wildebeest migration as large numbers of wildebeest move around the savannah plains in search of greener pastures.

Afternoon Evening game drive: Lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive and this will be followed with another game drive later in the evening to explore more of the wilderness of Masai Mara national reserve which is also known for sightings of the big five which includes elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. You will return to your lodge where your dinner will be served and you will spend the night in the comfort of your lodge as above.

Note: There is an optional hot air balloon safari in Masai Mara national reserve.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Naivasha

Have a brief game drive and finally exit Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha with in the rift valley region where are expected to arrive in time for lunch. Proceed to check in at the lodge, have your lunch and embark on an afternoon boat cruise to watch several mammals as they flock the shores of Lake Naivasha to quench their thirst. You will also view plenty of aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, and several water birds. Later in the evening you may choose to spend your evening at leisure or have a guided walking safari to explore different corners of the rift valley region on foot. This is a fascinating and adventurous activity as it enables tourists to even explore the parts of the park that are not easily reached while on a game drive. As the sun goes down, you will return for dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Amboseli national park

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet your driver and embark on a journey to Amboseli national park. Upon arrival at Amboseli national park, proceed to check in your lodge, have lunch as you prepare to go into the wilderness of Amboseli national park to see different wildlife species grazing, roaming and hunting in the savannah of the national park. You will enjoy photography as well as the views of Mt Kilimanjaro in the backdrop of the national park during your game drive as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and the sunset. Some of the wildlife species you will see as you explore Amboseli national park include elephants, lions, buffalos, hippos, impalas, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, and lesser kudu among others. Dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli Serena lodge.

Day 10: Full day in Amboseli national park

On this day, your wildlife viewing experience in Amboseli national park will begin with breakfast at your lodge and then you will proceed for a morning game viewing experience and to enjoy photography in the savannah plains of the national park which is home to herds of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, antelopes, lions, leopards among others as well as different bird species. You will return to your lodge for lunch in case you never packed a lunch box and later in the evening, you will have another game viewing experience to search for wildlife species and to enjoy the sunset after which you will be driven back to your lodge for your dinner and to spend the night at your lodge. Day 11: Transfer to Nairobi

Head to the park before sunrise for an early morning game drive enjoying sights of leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs among others. After the game drive you will head back to your lodge, have late breakfast then later checkout and embark on a journey back to Nairobi with drop off at JKIA or your Nairobi Hotel Late in the afternoon.
